Lego is one of the things that I keep an interest in, even though I don’t often actually put my hands to bricks. I’m not opposed to doing so, but when I do something, I like to go big, and I don’t currently have the time or money to invest in a large Lego build.
But it can be fun to take a look at the projects of those who do.
I first came across this guy channel when I noticed the claim that he’d built a $30,000 Lego Build.
That’s going to catch the eye of anyone who is interested in Lego or who likes to see unusual things.
He did a great job on this. His technique is solid, he’s got an eye for detail and can tell a story.
If that build really cost him $30,000, then the build he’s working on must be close to a quarter million by now. He’s building a huge Lego city, that melds into country side. There’s road, train tracks, an airport, a mountain, rural houses (one of which is on fire), a ski lift and much more.
All of it with programmed lighting.
It stars with the timelapse of the first three years of the build.
Finishes the Airport
And a Gondola.
Expands the rural part of the build.
And more.
It might surprise you, looking at these links, to learn that I didn’t actually share all of the videos he’s posted about this build. By my count, I didn’t even share half of them.
It really is a major undertaking. He’s apparently looking to get a much larger studio so he can expand even more.
